International Bitumen Emulsions started trading in 2001, main activities being the production and sales of “SS60” emulsion in drums and bulk, and application thereof.
In 2006 International Bitumen Emulsions was instrumental in originating emulsified bitumen prime, namely IB Prime. This prime is designed to provide an economic, environmentally friendly alternative to the declining tar prime market.
To date International Bitumen Emulsions has sold over 25 million litres of IB Prime. International Bitumen Emulsions provides a delivery service of bulk and drummed as well as sprayed products. In addition we have our own 3x bitumen distributors for application of all types of bitumen's and 2x haulers for bulk delivery and 2x trucks for delivering drums. We are a small company willing to take on the big jobs.
Being a small company we concentrate on making sure we provide our customers with good service, by being on time and supplying quality products.
The managing director, Rob Berry has 46 years' experience in the surfacing business of which 25 years has been in manufacturing and distribution of bitumen emulsions.
Rob Berry (Director) oversees all aspects of the day to day running of International Bitumen Emulsions inclusive of the production unit in association with skilled personnel.
Rob Berry also controls our fleet of vehicles, and can be contacted to handle all price inquiries, even after hours and on week-ends.
